During these relaxed days at home it’s time to be on patrol against our healthy-weight enemy – a closet full of sweatpants.
Military patrols engage in two categories of operation against the enemy: (1) Combat – which includes raid, ambush and/or security, and (2) Reconnaissance – the avoiding of direct combat while seeking out or confirming previously-gathered information.1
This week’s get-dressed-in-the-morning patrol orders are to ambush our loosest, friendliest, most ragtag sweatpants and put them in the Goodwill bag. Then we survey the closet or drawer for a pair of almost-tight sweatpants and step into them with the killer thought…”I’ve only got a couple pounds to go and you’re out-of-here.” WF!
