The second week in November has a lot going for it. First, we share President John F. Kennedy’s quote regarding Veteran’s Day… “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
San Diego is Veteran friendly; but according to a Voice of San Diego website article, latest statistics from a Regional Task Force on the Homeless report that 1381 homeless Vets
roam San Diego’s streets. One way to live by our words is to donate to Veterans Village of San Diego .
On a completely different note…Friday, November 13, is Sadie Hawkins Day. Remember when it was our turn to invite boys to the dance? If you have a favorite 
someone in your life, go ahead…ask him to dinner…and foot the bill. WF!
