Our exercise-dancer, shown in today’s graphic, captures the joy and freedom, the opening up, which movement gives us…–

One reason our brightly clad dancer catches the eye is that she is wearing sneakers – heavier-duty shoes – than that normally seen on a ballet or modern dance enthusiast. Those shoes give us permission to get going – whether in or out-of-doors.
She is arched – so upward facing with flexible spine – that just looking at her lifts our spirit. All of this fascination shows up in a boomer-senior body that doesn’t care its age or what anyone thinks.
Due to early marketing deadlines, this week requires that I commit to which Zumba Gold®, Essentrics® Aging Backwards or other fitness classes I want to in-person teach for the City of Seal Beach or other venues.
For weeks I have not known what to do, wondering if I should pull back due to time and energy constraints.
Then I saw our exercise-dancer. She gave me go-ahead permission and inspiration for next year.
There is real truth in the verse…”By beholding we become changed.” WF!
