As regular readers know, Federal Holidays mean a day off from our weekly health and fitness emails.
HAPPY LABOR DAY!
Last Wednesday at 7 a.m. the MRI technologist efficiently, patiently and professionally inserted my right shoulder under the camera so an exact diagnostic image could be obtained of torn biceps tendon and rotator cuff.
I appreciated her early morning employment and the countless other workers, up and down the socio-economic unskilled to high tech labor scale, who keep our country’s economic engine humming.
We learned during the pandemic… The valuable contribution of everyone’s work to our society.
When one worker flourishes due to safe conditions and fair pay, we all flourish.
Let’s remember that the next time we cast our ballot on labor law issues. WF!
