I missed normal dinner time yesterday due to attending the Women’s Museum of CA Women’s Film Festival showing of Underexposed: A Women’s Skateboarding Documentary. You may want to see this film – the athleticism of girls and women skateboarders is astounding. The women’s plight of insufficient media coverage and sponsorships is heart wrenching.
My dilemma after the movie was that it didn’t end until 7:30 p.m., which was well past my normal 6:00 p.m. dinner time. Early supper gives plenty of time for food to digest and the scale to show a friendly number the next morning.
Enter the quick and easy, light, nutritious evening meal: a dollop of non-fat Greek yogurt, fresh organic strawberries, a few blueberries and sprinkling of unsweetened coconut flakes. A moist and chewy unsulfured dried apricot served as dessert. My inner child was satisfied and I went to bed happy. WF!
