THANKSGIVING – Vitality Tip #58

According to History.com… “In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies.

For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. It wasn’t until 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November.”

May each of you enjoy a week of heartfelt gratitude for life’s blessings. As for me – I am thankful (1) for my sons, Joe and Josh, and their respective families and loved ones, (2) for good health, (3) for being able to live in freedom and faith of my choosing in the USA, and (4) for the gift of the love of exercise – which is what brought so many of you into my life. WF!
